Nickelodeon Family Fest @ the Paley Center for Media

One of my favorite projects was bringing the Nickelodeon Animation Celebration to life at The Paley Museum in New York City. The weekend event welcomed families for character meet-and-greets with Dora, SpongeBob, PAW Patrol, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, exclusive screenings, gaming tournaments, crafts, and plenty of Nickelodeon chaos.

As the lead marketer and project manager, I coordinated cross-functional teams across marketing, events, production, legal, consumer products, and talent while serving as the primary liaison with The Paley Museum. I oversaw everything from programming and guest experience to logistics and promotional strategy, hand-selecting the episodes and media files screened throughout the weekend, including content from the Dora reboot and fan-favorite PAW Patrol episodes.

Like any live event, not everything went according to plan. When the popcorn machines stopped working, I found myself making batches in the staff microwave. Earlier that same day, I was coordinating character appearances, managing vendor logistics, and troubleshooting programming schedules. It's the kind of work I love most: bringing together dozens of moving pieces, solving problems on the fly, and creating memorable experiences for families.

The event was a reminder that great marketing isn't just about the campaign; it's about making sure every detail, from the big creative moments to the last bag of popcorn, helps create a little bit of magic.
